I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to cheer for women. When I became a teen mom in high school no one was cheering for me (disclaimer: this is not an invitation to a pity party). I learned early that I had to be my OWN cheerleader. I realized that in order to defy the odds I had to bet on me.
I’ve always been a dreamer, an entrepreneur (before I knew what it meant) and a bit of a “dare devil”(ask my momma). My dreams always seemed GOD SIZED. Kinda’ like finding the perfect shoe on sale but it’s a size too big. I felt unqualified yet confident. Nervous yet willing.
I began to OWN my place when I realized that the “Creator of the Universe” wants to partner with me to manifest His dreams. Whew! God chose me to partner with Him and that’s pretty dope! Him + Me=”Black Girl Magic”. I want to help every woman discover and develop her magic.
There is a power that arises when women lift one another. Sis, if God can partner with you to birth a whole human surely you can do ANYTHING! I’m cheering for you. I believe in you. I love you.
Girl you got this!
